The slam of the door woke up Soul off of the couch, making him sit up quickly. His wife was kicking off her shoes and hanging up her jacket a little aggressively. Soul sighed before walking over to her.
“How was work?” He asked, concerned.
“What do you care?” She mumbled.
Soul shrugged, allowing silence to fall between them before she pushed past him.
It has been months since they spoke properly. Soul was trying and she would try... Occasionally. Fighting was the only thing they did anymore.
Soul had a drunk night with Maka and well, Maka and Soul woke up together the next morning. Soul kept it from his wife, but Maka didn’t, mainly because Maka wanted Soul to be part of the life that was growing inside her.
Maka and Soul still were partners for fighting, which only made things worse. Maka lost the baby, which tore her apart and made her move away from everything and to be with her mom.
Even though Maka was gone, the troubles of everything hadn’t left any of them. Maka, Soul and ___ were all hurt and no one was strong enough to apologize first.
Soul was relaxing on the couch watching tv for probably about three hours. When he heard the click of heels coming down the hallway. He sat up to look at ___ as she walked by, not even looking at him.
She was all dolled up; makeup, dress, high heels and shaved legs. Soul stood up quickly, following her to the front door.
“Where are you going?” He said as softly as possible, trying to not make her mad.
“Out,” was her reply.
“Okay, but can I know where? Just in case if something happens to you.”
“I am going to get drinks with my friends.”
“Which friends?”
“Tsubaki and Blair, Kid might show up, I don't know though. Tsubaki might bring Black*Star.” She pulled on a jacket and grabbed her purse. “Anything else you want to know?” She narrowed her eyes at Soul.
Soul stared at her. He forgot how cute she could be with those false lashes and narrowed eyes. Soul smirked and leaned in, grabbed the back of her neck in the process and kissed her.
“Be safe.” He whispered after leaning back with a small smile.
___ stared at him. Confused but slightly annoyed because she just applied her lipstick and it was a pain to put on. “Okay.” She grabbed her keys off of the hook and opened the door.
“I love you.” Soul whispered as she was closing the door behind her.
There was a pause before she slowly closed the door all the way.
___ leaned against the stairs’ railing with her hand over her heart. Soul hasn’t said those words to her months and it was making her heart race. It was like the first time when he first told her that he loved her. Years ago when they were dating. Of course she still loved him, she was hurt and couldn’t trust him. But he let her leave the house to get drinks; dressed up and all. He still trusted her even after everything.
Soul stared at the door. He wasn’t hoping she would say it back, but for some reason the close of the door made his heart drop. He realized that he didn’t hear the click of the heels go down the stairs yet. Curiously, he opened the door.
There she was with the most confused look on her face. Sadness in her eyes though. Then their eyes met, for the first time in months.
“I’m sorry.” Soul said with a strong confidence, realizing that he had never even said sorry to her. Not even after everything he had done to their marriage.
___ quickly pushed off the railing behind her and hugged her husband. Their embrace lasted about a minute before Soul let go of her and dragged her back into their home. They sat on the couch in silence.
“Why?” ___ looked at Soul.
“Why, what?”
“Why did it take you so long to say, sorry? I waited so long, I started to figure you didn’t even care.”
“I didn’t realized that I never have. I thought I did, I don’t have an excuse. I thought we were waiting until we both agreed to give up. But seeing you so beautiful and ready to leave me behind without a glance back, I didn’t want to think about losing you.” He took her hand. “You’re wearing the dress we went out on our first date together after we married. The lipstick you're wearing is the first time you tackled me to floor to smear it on my cheek with sloppy kisses. When I saw your lips dressed up for possibly someone else, I realized.” He breathed. “I had to make you happy again, I needed to see that smile and hear your laugh.”
He rested his forehead on her’s. “Please don’t leave me.”
She leaned back with a smile, which warmed his heart. “Well... If you don’t want me to leave you behind, you better get ready so we can leave to the bar.”
“You’ve got it.” Soul kissed her before leaving to get ready.
“I guess we’re going to start again.” ___ smiled to herself as she pulled out her makeup to retouch her lipstick.
“How was work?” He asked, concerned.

Soul Eater Masquerade: Soul
You walked into your weapon Mika's (myself, of course) room. Being her violent self, she was playing darts with precision that was kind of scary. She had her feet kicked up at her desk.
"Did you hear about the masquerade tonight?" You asked, sitting on her bed. "Don't know, don't care. Unless there's going to be a mosh pit, I would rather not go." Mika said. She threw another dart: bull's eye.
"Come on Mika, this could be a really cool party! I mean, a lot of cool people could be there." You told her. "Don't be so moody." She raised an eyebrow and threw another dart, her blue eyes staring closely at the board. "Did I mention Lord Death said

Soul x Reader~For The Broken
"C'mon (y/n), you can't just stay in there forever!"
"Watch me!"
"No, I can't fucking watch you because you're behind a locked door!"
"You're the NightTerror, just kick it down!"
"You know I'm not the NightTerror anymore, cut the shit already!"
You knew that you didn't mean to yell at your best Mika like that. You also knew that she hated being reminded of her past, especially as the NightTerror. To be perfectly honest, you were more angry with yourself than at her or anyone else. She was only trying to pry you out of your room because she cared, and ever since your boyfriend dumped you a month ago, you had been an emotional mess just like t

Soul Evans x Reader | Seven Minutes in Heaven
“It’s time for the next round to begin!” Tamaki exclaimed. “Alas, I’m afraid this is the nearly the last round. But don’t worry! We will get through this pain and we’ll make sure that these next two rounds will be the best!”
At this point, the other guys in the room looked considerably a lot happier this round compared to the others before because of the knowledge that this game was indeed drawing to an end. Only two more rounds until the finale, now that was something for them to look forward to.
“Only two more beautiful ladies to choose from…. But even so, the decisio

Here is the Soul x Reader that was voted for a long time ago.
Also, I don't think it needs a mature filter but it does have an real life adult issues.
Hope you like it
I do not own any characters in this they belong to Soul Eater and the rightful owner of that.
You own you or owns you
I'm sorry if Soul comes off a bit OOC in this...
